The ‘Building of the Year’ award is part of the Building of the Month initiative, a collaboration between Ashby Museum and Ashby Civic Society that showcases exceptional buildings in our historic town. Each month, a different building is highlighted, culminating in the annual award that recognises outstanding contributions to Ashby’s architectural heritage.
Winning this award is not just about the bricks and mortar – it’s about celebrating the passion, dedication, and craftsmanship that went into restoring our beautiful space. We aimed to create a warm and welcoming environment that reflects both the character of Ashby de la Zouch and the charm of our independent deli.
